Oh I am crying Sarah! My husband and I ADORE our dog – he is the spirit of pure happiness in our lives, we dont know what we would do without him. We have learned so much from our dog, we feel we are blessed humans beyond so many others, for having had the privilege of raising and caring for OUR dog – Sparki.

Thank you for sharing this story. I read EVERY word, it is compelling.

Kye is gorgeous.

When I try to write what I feel after reading this, my head gets swamped. I want to explain what I feel but cannot. I don’t know where to begin.

I have sat here for near 2 hours with this comment box open and just realized why I couldn’t form what I needed to say. I want to express sorry, support and a sense of being overwhelmed. Yet I cannot.

Then it dawns on me. I looked to my immediate left, on the floor. My college buddy. My best friend. My dog.

Sarah HAS said it all. The love. The compassion. The understanding.

I can’t express how much I wished I was there for you, for Kye and for Lani.

You are the best mommie evurz! Too often dogs are purchased as a novelty or an accessory. You throw your heart and soul into The Bears. Truly a part of the family. :) -KJC

My heart goes out to you and Lani. I’m terribly sorry for your loss, Sarah. This was a very tough and selfless thing you did, even though it’s probably one of the hardest things you’ve ever done.
